What does a ZeroWater filter remove?

Our unique filter allows the water to filter through 5 different layers. Thereby all visible solids, inorganic compounds and contaminants that are still present in our tap water are removed.

ZeroWater filters, among other things, lime, lead, chlorine, glyphosate, PFAS (PFOS / PFOA) and ensures a clean, pure taste. The 5-stage filter removes more impurities from the water than the (2-stage) filter from any other brand.

Researchers have done a test with different filters and how well they filter glyphosate from the water. In the video on the right you can see the result showing that ZeroWater is the only filter that removes glyphosate 100%.

Tests prove the effect

The operation of the ZeroWater filter is regularly tested. Both by official bodies, such as the NSF in America, and by private users. Time and again it is shown that the ZeroWater filter performs optimally and that it improves the taste of water, tea and coffee. ZeroWater always comes out on top in the tests. That is why we are proud of our unique 5-stage filter. It always delivers wonderfully pure water. Click here for the NSF certificate of our filter.

What else does ZeroWater filter?

Below is a table with the most recent test results of the ZeroWater filters. By clicking on the name of the filtered substance it is possible to read more about the contamination and why it is important to filter it from your water.

How are ZeroWater filters tested?

Test results based on NSF/ANSI test standards of flow-through equipment as performed by Quality Filter Testing Laboratory, LLC, located in Williamstown, New Jersey, an independent ISO 17025 laboratory accredited by IAPMO.
ZeroWater’s 5-stage filter with a nominal capacity of 75 liters and a competitor filter with a nominal capacity of 100 liters were tested against the products recommended daily use of 7.5 liters of filtration per day. The results shown are based on an average calculation of the test results of each filter of drinking water with a pH value of 6.5 and a pH value of 8.5.
