Fluoride, PFOS and PFOA!
The operation of the 5-stage filter
5-layers to optimally filtered water
ZeroWater is the only filter jug that is certified by the NSF for the filtration of lead. Lead is very harmful to your health. Water companies filter most of the lead from the drinking water. Nevertheless a large amount of lead can still get into your tap water, for example when you have lead water pipes.
The chemicals PFOS and PFOA are in the news regularly because their harmful effect on health. ZeroWater removes these substances from the water using the 5-stage filter. ZeroWater USA has applied for NSF certification to this effect. This makes ZeroWater the only filter brand with these certifications.

To measure is to know
Only ZeroWater reaches a TDS of 000
Dissolved solids are solid materials that can completely dissolve in water. Think of minerals, salts and metals. It is possible to remove the dissolved solids from the water through filtration.
An increased TDS level (total dissolved solids) in drinking water affects the taste and appearance of the water. Testing water in laboratories is expensive. That’s why ZeroWater opted for an easy to perform at home test. Use the TDS meter supplied with the jug for this purpose. Would you like to do the TDS test before purchasing a filter system? Then buy a separate TDS meter in our shop.

TDS is the English abbreviation for Total Dissolved Solids, i.e., a sum of all solids dissolved in water. TDS is measured in ppm = parts per million.
The TDS value of drinking water throughout Europe varies greatly. We have measured values from 100 ppm to as much as 560 ppm. However, because there is a big difference between the values, ZeroWater-Europe asks all ZeroWater users to report their TDS values. You can find the TDS value of measurements in your area on our TDS measurement chart.
Many people filter untreated tap water with a simple water jug equipped with a carbon filter. Yet, there are still many particles left in the water. View the ZeroWater test results below for more information.
