TDS Value in the chart

How long the water filter lasts depends on the TDS value of your unfiltered water. You can measure the value of dissolved solids with a TDS meter. This value is different everywhere as you can see on the chart.

Your TDS value allows you to estimate how many liters of water you can filter with one filter.

The filter

Yes, you will receive a free ZeroWater filter when you purchase any type of water jug. Being able to use clean and pure water immediately is important to us.

In addition to the free water filter, you will also receive a TDS meter to measure the water quality.

This depends on the amount of TDS in your tap water. A filter can be used longer if you have a low amount of dissolved solids (TDS) in your water.

Consider that with a TDS value between 50 and 200, one can filter 95 – 200 liters of water. You can filter between 30 and 55 liters of water with a TDS between 200 and 300 and with a value of 300 to 400.

You can buy a separate TDS meterin our store to find out what your TDS value is before you can order a ZeroWater.

It can happen that when the filter is saturated, your water will taste strange. Therefore, it is important to use a TDS meter to measure the TDS of your water. If the TDS meter indicates ‘006’ or higher, replace your filter immediately.

It is possible that, because the top of the filter is partly open, pieces from the upper filter layer will enter the reservoir. This is not a problem, the black spots you see are particles from the carbon filter.

To ensure that as few particles as possible come out of the filter, it is advisable not to pour the water directly onto the filter but next to it when filling the reservoir.

It is normal for the filter to be slightly damp when opening the container and/or unscrewing the blue lid. At ZeroWater, we wash out the filter layers before putting them in the filter so that you don’t have to flush the filter after receiving it.

Ordering & Shipping

You will receive an email with the order confirmation after you have placed your order. Orders placed before 20:00 CET will be shipped the same day. You will receive a shipping confirmation with the Track & Trace information after we have processed your package. (note that this is only updated by the carrier after 23:00)

When a product is for sale on backorder or not in stock, it will be shown on the product page.

We will indicate this with the product of which we know when we will get it back in stock. These products can often also be ordered. We will then deliver the complete order when all products are in stock.

Make sure you include the original packing slip or a bill with your contact information so that we know to whom we can refund the purchase price.

We can only accept returns if the products meet the following return conditions.

You may try the product as you would in a normal store. This means that you may remove the product from its packaging unless the product has been sealed. This is the case with our ZeroWater filters. We cannot accept the return of filters whose plastic packaging has been opened for hygiene reasons. Therefore, we will charge €18.50 for each opened filter.

We may charge additional costs if the product is broken during the return process, even if the product is returned incomplete. Make sure you always send the original packaging.

Of course, it is possible to exchange a product. Please note that the above return conditions also apply. We will ship the item you want to exchange within 5 days after receipt of the return. Please, note that the return costs must be paid by the customer.

We will refund the full purchase price when you return a product. This includes the cost of shipping the product. This will be done within 14 days after receipt of the return. Please note that the costs for returning the product are to be paid by the customer.

When you want to cancel an order, please always contact us by phone to inform us about the cancellation.
