TDS Value in the chart

How long a water filter lasts depends on the TDS value of the unfiltered water. You can measure the value of dissolved solids with a TDS-meter. This value is different everywhere, as you can see on the chart.

Based on the TDS value, you can estimate how many liters of water you can filter with one filter.

The filter

Yes, you will receive a free ZeroWater filter when you purchase any type of water jug. We think it is important that you can immediately use pure and clean water.

W e also provide you with a TDS meter to measure the water quality.

This depends on the amount of TDS in your tap water. A filter can be used longer if you have a low amount of dissolved solids (TDS) in your water.

You can assume that with a TDS value between 50 and 200, you can filter 95 – 200 liters of water. You can filter between 30 and 55 liters of water with a TDS between 200 and 300 and with a value of 300 to 400.

Would you like to know the TDS value of the water before you can order a ZeroWater? Buy a separate TDS meter in our shop.

The water may taste strange when the filter is saturated. That is why it is important to measure the TDS of the water with a TDS meter. Does the TDS meter read ‘006’ or higher? Replace your filter immediately.

However, because the top of the filter is partially open, particles from the upper filter layer can enter the reservoir. This is not a problem, the black spots you see are particles from the carbon filter.

To ensure that as few particles as possible come out of the filter, ZeroWater recommends that when filling the reservoir, do not pour the water directly onto the filter, but next to it

It is normal for the filter to be slightly damp when opening the container and/or unscrewing the blue lid. At ZeroWater, we wash out the filter layers before putting them in the filter so that you don’t have to flush the filter after receiving it.

You will receive an email from us with the order confirmation. Orders placed before 8 p.m. will be shipped the same day. You will receive a shipping confirmation with the Track & Trace information after we have shipped your package. (please note: this will only be updated after 23.00 hours by the carrier)

When a product is for sale on backorder or out of stock, this will be shown on the product page.

We will indicate with the product when it is available again. However, you can often order the product in advance. We will send the complete order when the products are back in stock.

Make sure you include the original packing slip or a bill with your contact information so that we know to whom we can refund the purchase price.

We can only accept returns if the products meet the following return conditions.

This means that you may remove the product from its packaging, except when the product has been sealed. This is the case with our ZeroWater filters. We cannot accept the return of filters whose plastic packaging has been opened for hygiene reasons. We will charge € 18.50 for each opened filter.

Make sure you always include the original packaging. We may charge an additional fee if the product is damaged during the return or if the product is returned incomplete.

Of course, it is possible to exchange a product. Please note that the above return conditions also apply. We will ship the item you want to exchange within 5 days after receipt of the return. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the product.

We will refund the full purchase price when you return a product. This includes the cost of shipping the product. This will be done within 14 days after receipt of the return. Please note that the costs for returning the product are to be paid by the customer.
